Sheila absolutely adores being a realtor.  When you love what you do, the results speak for themselves.

Sheila joined Royal LePage as a Realtor, continuing a successful career path.  She worked in the airline industry,  as a Flight Attendant/In-Charge and later as an Emergency Procedures Trainer. She also worked for a large hospital management company as a Senior International Recruiter, where she hired medical staff (mostly from the U.S.) for a 500-bed state-of-the-art hospital facility in Saudi Arabia. 

Of Irish descent, Sheila herself was born in England.  Her parents emigrated to England from the south of Ireland  (Kerry and Kildare) to make a better life for themselves and their children.  While many of her relatives live in Ireland, the others live in England, Spain, Australia and USA).  

She believes in giving back and serving the local community however possible.  Some of her community involvement includes:

- Donation of a generous portion of her income to various charities.  One of her favourites is the SHELTER FOUNDATION.   Owned by Royal LePage, it is Canada's largest public foundation funding violence prevention programmes, and providing shelter and counselling for families affected by violence.   Sheila is in the TOP 25% of CONTRIBUTORS NATIONALLY TO THIS FOUNDATION. 

- Co-founded the Lakeshore Woods Community Newsletter, leading to nomination for a COMMUNITY SPIRIT AWARD by the Town of Oakville.  

- Co-founder/chairperson of the LAKESHORE WOODS RESIDENTS ASSOCIATION

- Active participant and sponsor of Lakeshore Woods Community Clean-Up day.

- Adopted a trail at Burloak/Lakeshore under  Oakville's  ADOPT A TRAIL programme
